We recommend spaying and neutering all dogs and cats unless you plan on breeding or showing them.
Our spay and neuter program focuses on your individual pet’s comfort and safety. Your pet will be well taken care of by our team, with our clinic’s state-of-the-art surgical suite and monitoring equipment.
A spay or neuter procedure is an important part of your pet’s preventive medical care. Dogs and cats who are spayed or neutered are less likely to develop certain types of cancer, they are less aggressive, and they are less likely to exhibit roaming behaviours that can lead to injury or illness. Spaying and neutering also helps reduce the population of unwanted pets.
We pride ourselves on individualizing the process to make sure your pet has close monitoring before, during, and after the surgery. We limit the number of procedures performed each day so your pet can be attended to. All our surgeries have intravenous fluids during the surgery to maintain blood pressure and have access for emergency medications.
